The Eighth Day
By NeorahYah Germaine Yisra'el
What exactly is the Eighth Day?
Most of us have never heard of it; and yet, the eighth day has profound significance in understanding Yahuah's plan for the redemption and restoration of mankind.
The Eighth Day is consecrated and Set-Apart unto Yahuah. It is the 'day' after the Seventh Millennial Reign of Yahushua, HaMashiach.
There are two aspects of the eighth day; the physical, and the spiritual aspects.
The Physical Aspect of the Eighth Day
In scripture, the eighth day is specified as being kept at the end of Cukkot, aka, the Feast of Tabernacles. It signals the end of all of Yahuah's Mo'edim for the agricultural year. It is a day which is also a Shabbat, and is therefore Set-Apart unto Yahuah.
This is the beauty of learning to 'count the days' correctly: no matter how far into the future (or past) you chose to number the days; the Shabbats and Mo'edim of Yahuah will always be the same. Yahuah is not the author of confusion.
Here is the Torah for the Eighth Day:
'And Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh, saying, Speak unto the children of Yisra'el
saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Cukkot
for seven days unto Yahuah. On the first day shall be a Set-Apart assembly:
you shall do no servile work therein.
Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yahuah: on the eighth
day shall be a Set-Apart assembly unto you; and you shall offer an offering made by
fire unto Yahuah: it is a solemn assembly; and you shall do no servile work
therein.
Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit
of the land, you shall keep a feast unto Yahuah seven days: on the first day
shall be a Shabbat, and on the eighth day shall be a Shabbat.
~Leviticus 23:33-37 and 39~
See the link: The Feast of Sukkot
The Eighth Day is irrevocably associated with Cukkot. Cukkot represents the 7th 'Day' or the Seventh Millennium when Yahushua establishes his thousand year reign. Cukkot prepares us for the Last Great Day, when Yahuah Meqoddishkem tabernacles with us. That millennium is the Eighth Day.
If you have not learned to 'count the days' (and I hope you make every effort to do so), it would be easy to conclude that the seventh day spoken of in the above scripture is a Shabbat, however, it would be an error to do so. That assumption will cause you to overlook the fact that Yahuah is utilizing the Weekly Count, according to His calendar. Remember, there are two simultaneous counts; the Monthly and the Weekly counts. Leviticus 23: 33-37, is a Weekly Count. So, if you count the days of the Feast as instructed in the scripture; the 7th Day of the Feast of Cukkot is a Preparation Day, or, the 6th Day of the Weekly Count. Therefore, the 7th Day of the Weekly Count is the Shabbat, always occurring on the 22nd Day of the Monthly Count. It is the Eighth Day spoken of in scripture; from Shabbat to Shabbat.

Above is the calendar for the 7th Hebrew month of the corresponding Gregorian year (2020 - 2021 AD). It is being utilized, for the purposes of this article, as an educational tool. However, at the time this article was originally written, the calendar reflected the 7th Hebrew Month of 2018 by Yahuah's calendar. The timing of Yahuah's Count, Does Not Change, regardless of the year. If you refer to the 2024 calendars: YFOL CALENDARS
You will still find this to be so.
That is the beauty of Yahuah's calendar; once you've learned how to 'count the days,' you can plan ahead, and count ahead. Whether it is 520 BCE, 1620 AD, 2020 AD, or 2120 AD, 'the count' will remain the same. Furthermore, Yahuah swears by His steadfast witness in the heavens, which regulates it all.

The Significance of the Eighth Day in Hebrew Culture
The Nazarite Vow
'And if any man die very suddenly by him, and he has defiled the head of his consecration; then he shall
shave his head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day he shall shave it. And on the eighth day he
shall bring two turtle(s)(doves), or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the Tabernacle of the assembly:
And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and make an
atonement for him, for that he sinned by the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day. And he shall consecrate unto Yahuah the days of his separation, and shall bring a lamb of the first year for a trespass
offering: but the days that were before shall be lost, because his separation was defiled.'
~Numbers 6:9-12~
If a person declared a Nazarite vow before Yahuah, and for reasons beyond their control, they became defiled in the days of their vow; Yahuah provided laws for their restoration. It involved seven days of separation, purification, and preparation. On the eighth day, both a sin/trespass and a burnt offering was offered before Yahuah.
The Cleansing of Lepers
Anyone who was to be cleansed of the plague of leprosy, was first declared clean through certain rituals, outside the
camp. Only then was he allowed to come into the camp; however he had to remain outside of his tent, in the open for seven days. On the eighth day, the person cleansed of the leprosy, brought to the priest, the things required by
Torah. The priest offered them before Yahuah as a sin offering and a burnt offering, to atone for the one cleansed of leprosy.
In other words, the cleansed person was kept separate during a seven day purification and preparation; and made an offering before Yahuah on the eighth day.
Read Leviticus 14: 1-20.
An Issue
'And when he that has an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for his
cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean. And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before yahuah unto the door of the
Tabernacle of the assembly, and give then unto the priest: And the priest shall offer them, the one for a
sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him before Yahuah for his issue.'
~Leviticus 15:13-15~
Preparation of the Tabernacle
'Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves. And when these days
are expired, it shall be that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings
upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, says Adonai Yahuah.'
~Ezekiel 43:26-27~
It should be noted that from the eighth day onward, the altar and the priests were acceptable before Yahuah forever.

~Ezekiel 43:26-27~
It should be noted that from the eighth day onward, the altar and the priests were acceptable before Yahuah forever.
The above calendar reflects the beauty of Yahuah's Heavenly Time Clock. It demonstrates that a directive given over four thousand years ago
in Leviticus 23: 33-37, remains clearly evident in 2018 AD; as it will be in the year in 2019 AD, and as it will be in the years to follow. That is the wisdom in learning to count the days; as King David understood that Yahuah does not change:
'So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.' ~Psalms 90:12~
Circumcision
Circumcision was a requirement for, and a sign of, the covenant Yahuah made with Abraham and his descendants.
'And you shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me
and you. And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your
generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of your seed.'
~Genesis 17:11-12~
'And Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh, saying, Speak unto the children of Yisra'el, saying, if a woman have
conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of
the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean. And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin
shall be circumcised.
~Leviticus 12:1-3~
Noah
Noah was the eighth from Adam.
'And spared not the old world, but saved Noach the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the
world of the wicked.' ~2Peter 2:5~
Seven others were saved from the flood also; not because of their works, but because of their association with Noah.
'Noah was 'a just man and perfect in his generations, and walked with Yahuah.' ~Genesis 6:9~
Because of Noah, all eight were spared the judgement of the flood.
The Sacrifice of the Firstborn
'You shall not delay to offer the first of your ripe fruits, and of your liquors: the firstborn of your sons shall you give unto me.
Likewise shall you do with your oxen, and with your sheep: seven days it shall be with its dam; on the eighth day you shall give it to me.'
~Exodus 22: 29-30~
'And Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh, saying, When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam;
and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto Yahuah.' ~Leviticus 22:26-27~
The oxen, goats and sheep were to remain with the dam for seven days of preparation; then to be sacrificed on the eighth day, a Set-Apart day unto Yahuah.
From the eighth day onward, they could be sacrificed. This is a foreshadowing of Yahuah's spiritual Eighth Day, in which the establishment of Yahuah's kingdom is forever.
The Consecration of the Priests
'And you shall not go out of the door of the Tabernacle of the assembly in seven days. until the days of your consecration be at an end:
for seven days shall he consecrate you. As he has done this day, so Yahuah has commanded to do, to make an atonement for you.
Therefore shall you abide at the door of the tabernacle of the assembly and night seven days, and guard the watch of Yahuah, that you die not:
for I am commanded...'
And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Mosheh called, Aharon and his sons, and the elders of Yisra'el...
And Mosheh said unto Aharon, Go unto the altar. and offer your sin offering, and your burnt offering and make an atonement for yourself,
and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as Yahuah commanded. ~Leviticus 8:33-35~

The following can never be repeated enough; not until it is well understood, and ingrained in our core:
'But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with Yahuah as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.'
~2Peter 3:8~
For example:
1. We have seen so far in scripture that seven days are required to cleanse, purify, prepare, and Set-Apart.
2. Conversely, six 'days' are given to mankind; to work, to cleanse, to prepare for the seventh 'day' Shabbat; which is a Set-Apart day of rest.
3. 2Peter 3:8 has also shown us that 6 Days is as 6000 years; and 1 Day is as 1000 years.
If you believe the Word of Yahuah, then understand what the scriptures are saying:
6 Days / 6000 Years : Are given to mankind. To repent, and to prepare for the Second Coming of HaMashiach,
1 Day / 1000 Years: Are determined for HaMashiach's Millennial Reign. A thousand years of Shabbat Rest.
To cleanse, to atone, to purify us. Our High Priest Yahushua, consecrating us to be acceptable before Yahuah, Meqoddishkem.
A Total of:
7 days / 7000 Years.
What does the scriptures say will occur at the beginning of the 7th Day?
An angel having a key and a great chain, binds HaShatan, casts him into the bottomless pit, places a seal upon him, and he is shut up for 1000 years;
the period of Yahushua's Millennial Reign. HaShatan is removed to allow the righteous, who have already received their spiritual bodies,
to obtain rest, and become consecrated to Yahuah.
'But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.'
~Revelation 20:5~
What does the scriptures say will occur at the end of the 7th Day?
HaShatan is loosed out of his prison. The first thing he will do is go out and deceive the nations all over the earth;
gathering Gog and Magog to come and make war against Yahuah's Set-Apart Ones. They are destroyed by fire sent by Yahuah from heaven.
HaShatan is cast into the Lake of Fire.
The Second Resurrection occurs at the end of the 7th 'Day,' when the 7000th year from creation is completed.
This is the time of the Great White Throne Judgement.
Books are opened, and everyone, great and small are judged according to their works. It is all recalled to their remembrance. Yahoshua opens
the Book of Life, and everyone whose names are not found therein, are cast into the Lake of Fire.
All are righteously judged at the end of the 7th Day; when the Seventh Millennium from Creation is complete.
~Revelation 20: 1-15~
However, the righteous among us, those of the First Resurrection who were asleep and those alive who were changed in the twinkling of an eye; shall already have their glorified bodies as the remaining First Fruits after Yahushua . They will have spent the last 1000 years (the 7th Day), fellowshipping with Yahushua, sitting at the feet of the Patriarchs, in Preparation once again; only this time it will be for the arrival of Yahuah, Elohiym Olam; the Everlasting Power.
'Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in a twinkling of a eye, at the last trump:
for the shofar shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.' ~1 Corinthians 15:51-52~
'For Yahushua himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the shofar of Yahuah:
and the dead in Mashiach shall rise first...' ~1 Thessalonians 4:16~
It will be necessary for the righteous to have glorified bodies (as Adam and Eve did before they sinned), during the 1000 years of the 7th Millennium; the days of humans living five hundred years or more ended with the Flood. More importantly, the righteous are called to be with Yahuah and Yahushua forever. That is the purpose of the 6th and 7th Day; and as such Yahuah sees fit to outfit those who have endured until the end, with bodies suited to endure an eternity with him. Bodies equipped for the Eighth Day.
'For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption,
and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is your sting? O Sheol, where is your victory?' ~1 Corinthians 15:53-55~
The glorified bodies we will receive at the beginning of the 7th Day, are given in anticipation of an eternity spent with Yahuah, at the Eighth Day, the Last Great Day.
The Spiritual Aspect of the Eighth Day
Yisra'el, it is imperative we become spiritually aware that:
6 Days / 6000 Years: Number of 'days' allotted to mankind.
1 Day / 1000 Years: Number of 'days' in Yahoshua's Millennial Reign.
Total:
7 Days / 7000 Years: Number of 'days' from Creation.
Plus
1 Day / 8000th Year: The Eighth Day, aka, The Last Great Day. All things are made new, and will endure ad infinitum.
What happens on the Eighth Day?
The first thing that should be noted, is that by the Eighth Day, Yahuah has thoroughly rooted out and purged the unrighteous from the system. Whether it be anything or anyone, there shall be nothing found that defiles the Set-Apart Kingdom of Yahuah.
This is what the scriptures say:
'And I saw a renewed heaven and a renewed earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the Set-Apart city, Renewed Yerushalayim, coming down from Yahuah out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her man.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the Tabernacle of Yahuah is with men, and he will tabernacle with them, and they
shall be his people, and Yahuah himself shall be with them, and be their Elohiym. And Yahuah shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be anymore pain: for the former things are passed away.
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.'
~Revelation 21:1-5~
'And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of Yahuah and the Lamb. in the midst of the
street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bore twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month:
and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of Yahuah and of the Lamb
shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night
there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for Yahuah Elohiym gives them light: and they shall reign forever and ever.
And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true...' ~Revelation 22:1-6~
During the Eighth Day, Yahuah creates a Renewed Yerushalayim, on a renewed earth, under a renewed heaven.
Yahushua, HaMashiach sits on the throne and gives freely to the righteous, to drink from the fountain of the water of life;
not unlike what he declared:
'In the last day, that great 'day' of the feast, Yahushua stood and cried, saying, if any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that
believes on me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.' ~John 7: 37-38~
Also;
'And he said unto me, It is done. I am the Aleph and the Tav את, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the foundation
of the water of life freely. ~Revelation 21:6~
The Tree of Life is restored to the righteous among the nations to be used for comfort and healing. ~Revelation 22:2~
Having been cleansed and purified in the 7th 'Day'/Millennium; from the Eighth Day onward, you are consecrated to Yahuah forever.
Having glorified bodies, the righteous are able to dwell in the light provided by Yahuah; yet, they will see the face of the Lamb. They are granted admission into the Renewed City because their names are recorded in the Book of Life.
~Revelation 22:2~
For an understanding of the activities that will occur during the Eighth Day / 8th Millennium, read ~Revelation, Chapters 20, 21, and 22~
In conclusion, we should be looking forward to and preparing for the Eighth Day; the Last Great day when Yahuah shall place His Sukkah on earth, and dwell among us. We are currently in the 6th Day / the 6th Millennium since Creation. See: THE 6:7 RATIO

Yahushua, HaMashiach and his 7th Day Millennial reign is just around the corner:
'Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that guard the words of the prophecy of this book.' ~Revelation 22:7~
Based on the above scripture, I will stress again the importance of understanding the 6th, 7th, and 8th 'Days,' for they are the 6th, 7th, and 8th Millenniums
